The title of this work refers to Bertolt Brecht's last ever poem, written from his hospital bed in Paris. Here he at last accepts the impermanence of his existence, welcoming the truth that life and the natural world will continue after he is gone.
Blossoms are a celebration of vitality and joy but are, by their very nature, a symbol of impermanence.
